 ATOMS TRAVEL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Lake County Atoms field teams based on USA Hockey and Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI) guidelines.  Player Registration and all medical and liability release forms must be completed, signed and submitted to the Atoms with the required Registration Fee paid before any player may skate. 

IMPORTANT NOTE - to comply with AHAI's guidelines you must inform us at the time of registration if your player is not a United States Citizen.

Age Classifications - According to USA Hockey guidelines and the Atoms policy, all travel league players must skate at their appropriate age level, except under special circumstances. No player will be permitted to "skate down" a level for any reason, however, "skating up" is permitted. In order to "skate up" a petition must be filed with the Board of Directors of the Atoms, prior to tryouts for that part of the Atom's organization. It is solely at the discretion of the Board whether a petitioning player will "skate up."
